Training Courses Available
1. 1. Integrated course: Module 1+ Module 2
This course is aimed at getting knowledge of and experience with the Ten-Point-Program and Water Specific Therapy. Both individual applications and group work are part of this course. The main topic of this course is how to use the Halliwick Concept as a method for Hydrotherapy/aquatic therapy. The Water Specific Therapy is taught both in theory and practice. Working with patients forms an essential part of this course.
Scheduling can be done on request:
- Week courses that take 4 or 5 days
- Weekend courses that take 3 (long) days
2. Special Courses
Special courses are custom made for specific questions from health care institutions. They can be focused on the use of the Halliwick Concept in e.g. adult neurology, paediatrics, balance, rheumatology etc. In special courses, Halliwick can also be taught in combination with other methods in hydrotherapy/aquatic therapy. The amount of hours and the time frame depend on the specific request and local possibilities.
In courses 1 and 2, the participant will only receive a certificate:
- Having attended at least 90 % of the course
- Having participated actively in all pool sessions
